Onion skin-dyed Easter eggs

I've begun subscribing to the Instructables RSS feed. Instructables is a site where people post instructions on how to do things. All kinds of things. A cargo trailer for your bicycle. A marshmallow gun. A hot wire foam cutter. How about a 3D scanner or autonomous, self-assembling robots?

I find this site way too distracting, and I need to stop myself from running out to buy supplies. But I'm thinking those onion-skin dyed Easter eggs look like a fun thing to do with our four year-old daughter.
